At the end of the room opposite the entrance is a hallway that leads to a lift with no clear bottom. All of these are minable, but take much longer to regenerate than normal ores. The Vault is a large room filled with Gold Blocks and Gold Ore. The other NPC in these tunnels is Ulauth, a Merchant NPC that sells various pieces of mining equipment. Finishing the quest will get you 1 Enchanted Gold Block and access to The Vault. Vault Guard is located next to The Vault Entrance and will give you a quest to find and kill a thief Quest Boss and return the gold he stole. The Vault cannot be entered without first finishing a quest given by the Vault Guard. Past this area is a small tunnel leading down into… more caves! These caves are less of a maze than the previous area, and house 2 NPC’s and the entrance to The Vault. Bedrock Shards are a new material unlocked at level 40, and can be used in the Smithing skill to create stronger armor. Shift-left clicking on bedrock with it will break the bedrock, and give you one Bedrock Shard. The Bedrock Breaker is an iron pickaxe with an ability. Once found and returned to him, he will award you with the Bedrock Breaker pickaxe. ![]() ![]() He will ask you to find his missing lantern, a quest that will have you navigate the maze of tunnels to find it. Lost Miner is a quest NPC located deep in the caverns, in a small outpost. The first NPC you’ll meet in this area is Lost Miner. Despite the lack of actual ores, there is a lot to mine and uncover. Large stalactites hang from the ceiling, and dark rivers twist through the narrow passages. The area is a large, dark cavern, covered in stone and bedrock. This will revamp how mining works, and ensure you don’t stray too far from your level zone.īedrock Depths is a new mining area, accessed from a portal in the Dwarven Mines. In addition to this, new pickaxes and materials will be unlocked the further you go on. Levelling this skill will unlock 3 new Islands, those being The Highlands at level 25, the Bedrock Depths at level 40, and the Stygian Quarry at level 65. Mining right now is one of the most boring skills, and has no real content. ![]() Additionally, Combat will increase the maximum attack speed by +2% per level past 50. Tailoring, Smithing, and Adventuring will have a max of 25. ![]() Alchemy would be increased to a maximum of 100, however the amount of XP needed per level would be slightly lower in the stead of proper islands for the skill to help level it. Enchanting would also stay at a max of level 50. Mining's maximum would still be 100, regardless of the changes brought from the Dwarven Mines. Farming's normal maximum will be increased to 100, and can be further increased to 110 with the Farming Festivals. Skills will have their maximum further increased to 100 for Foraging, Combat, and Fishing. This suggestion also features a revamp to skills and new game mechanics. This thread will cover 16 main sections, where 6 are dedicated to skills, 4 to new features, and 6 to miscellaneous content and meta parts of the thread. While reading, please remember that thinking of content can be a lot easier than actually implementing it, so please, no comments complaining about the developers.
